ClearView Exterior Care – Terms & Conditions

1. About Us

ClearView Exterior Care is a sole trader business owned and operated by Morgan Goddard.

2. Services We Provide

We provide domestic exterior cleaning services including:

· Driveway cleaning & restoration

· Patio and path cleaning

· Softwash cleaning of soffits, fascias & cladding

· Gutter clearing and exterior gutter cleaning (ground-based)

· Wheelie bin cleaning

· Full exterior refresh packages (as advertised)

 

We do not provide:

· Roof cleaning or roof access

· Structural repairs, re-pointing or building works

· Window sealing or repairs

· Any service not explicitly agreed in writing

3. Quotes & Pricing

3.1 Quotes are based on information provided and/or visual assessment.

3.2 Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

3.3 If site conditions differ materially on arrival, we reserve the right to revise the quote or scope.

3.4 Prices are fixed per job unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Bookings, Deposits & Payment

4.1 A booking is confirmed once written confirmation is issued.

4.2 Certain services may require a 25% deposit.

4.3 Residential payments are due on completion.

4.4 Commercial or agent payments are due within 14 days unless agreed otherwise.

4.5 We accept bank transfer, card payment, and cash (by agreement).

4.6 Late payment interest may be applied in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

· Provide safe, clear access to work areas

· Move vehicles, furniture, and fragile items

· Disclose known defects (loose paving, damaged gutters, poor seals, etc.)

· Provide water supply unless otherwise agreed

· Keep children and pets away during works

 

Failed access may result in a call-out charge.

6. Cleaning Results & Limitations

While we use appropriate professional methods:

· Some staining (oil, rust, tyre marks, black spot) may not fully remove

· Pre-existing wear may become more visible

· Loose materials may dislodge during cleaning

· Repeat treatments may be required for organic growth

 

Results are improvement-based, not “as new” guarantees.

​7. Weather & Safety

We may reschedule work if conditions are unsafe.

No charge applies for weather-related rescheduling.

8. Health & Safety

Exterior cleaning involves inherent risks.

We reserve the right to stop or refuse work where conditions are unsafe.

9. Property Condition & Liability

We are not liable for damage caused by:

· Pre-existing defects

· Aged or poorly installed materials

· Blocked or inadequate drainage

· Items left in the work area

 

By booking, you confirm surfaces are suitable for cleaning.

10. Subscription Services 

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance

Bins must be accessible on service day

Missed visits due to access issues are chargeable

7 days’ notice required to cancel

Prices may change with 30 days’ notice

For monthly memberships, if a location is found to be unsuitable after route planning or an initial visit:

The membership may be cancelled by us

No further services will be provided

Any payments for future, uncompleted services will be refunded in full

No cancellation fees will apply

11. Photos & Marketing

We may take before/after photos for quality and marketing.

You may opt out in writing.

12. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations & Changes​

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge.

All cancellations or changes must be made via phone, WhatsApp, or email and are only confirmed once acknowledged by us.

48–24 hours’ notice: We may charge 25% of the quoted price.

Less than 24 hours’ notice, no-shows, or failed access: We may charge 50% of the quoted price or retain any deposit paid, whichever is greater.

Cancellations by Us

We may cancel or reschedule where work cannot be carried out safely or reasonably (including weather, safety, equipment or operational issues). In such cases, no fees apply and an alternative date will be offered.

Service Area & Memberships​

By booking or subscribing, you confirm your service address is accurate and within our operational service area.

If a property is later found to be outside our service area or impractical to service due to distance, we reserve the right to cancel the booking or subscription.​

13. Liability & Insurance

13.1 ClearView Exterior Care holds £5,000,000 Public Liability Insurance, covering accidental injury and property damage arising from our services.

 

13.2 Insurance does not cover:

· Pre-existing defects

· Indirect or financial loss

· Damage caused by customer negligence

 

13.3 Liability is limited to the value of the service provided, except where prohibited by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By Booking a service with ClearView Exterior Care, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
